Yo Gabba Gabba is making me less smarterer.
I got up with the lil meatloaf at 830 am, his daddy is still sleeping, it's now 11. The baby will not stay content. He doesnt want to play with his 8 ba-drillion toys, or lie down on his jungle mat with all the crap hanging above him, or sit and hang out with mommy or go back to sleep. No no...that would be too convenient. I'm sitting here trying to reads your blogs and join in the semi-conversation one gets to have on this thing, but all he wants to do is whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii----iiiiiiiiiii---iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii---iiiiiiiiiiiine. I had on True Blood, that I had taped last Sunday (since they are marathoning Season2 on HBO), and the lil meatball wont shoosh up long enough so I can hear it. So inevitably I am forced to put on YO GABBA GABBA, that I had DVR'd for just such times. The problem is that I only taped 5 episodes, so now I have been watching, and listening to the same damn shows over and over and over...infinity. I think its a great show, and Mr. Stinkypants loves it...he's 7 months old and gets totally spazzy when he sees its on. He locks up muscles and grunts. It's weird. It's his thing. I'm just saying, my brain is starting to turn into a melted pudding pop. Plus its hard to concentrate on writing in my blog or read my Sookie Stackhouse book, while the repetitive incessant music is playing. "Jumpy jump jump. Jumpy jump jump jump." Right off a cliff. Annnny second now. :D

Ooooo, Yo Gabba Gabba sounds even worse than the Teletubbies!
ReplyDeleteYou should thank your lucky stars he has never gotten into Boombah. You want a show that will melt your brain and your will to live, that is the one!
ReplyDeleteeep! As long as he stays far away from Barnie. That show and the "Stepford Children" on it give me the jeebies!!
ReplyDeleteMy Littleman is too old for the Yo Gabba Gabba crap, but I could not stand The Wiggles and dodged that bullet:::whew:::
ReplyDeleteOMG, I totally had to watch The Wiggles. My 7 yr old loved them when she was a baby. I still can sing along!!
ReplyDeleteI've had to watch all those annoying kids/baby shows. Ugh! Barney makes me want to scratch my eyes out. Yo Gabba Gabba isn't so bad, I guess. The Fresh Beat Band...now THAT'S annoying and my 2 year old loves it.
