Another homemade venture...

My homemade herb garden. I went to Lowes and got the plants and put them all together in this cute box. The plant on the right is actually jalapeno for my fella. He likes hot stuff...yes he does! ;)

This is another connection to Mama Earth for my little family and I. I love it!!! Hopefully I wont kill it.

My Little Clay Goddess

I was checking out all these pagan merchandisers and how much everything costs...WHOA! A lot of stuff was just way too expensive for the size of what you were getting, especially the figures/altar statues. I needed one, and after seeing the prices, I decided to make my own. She's not the best representation of The Goddess I've ever seen, but she's connected to me, cost $4 to make and my daughter and I spent quality creative time together...she made the weird little animals on the cookie sheet. We used Sculpey baking clay, which was perfect. :)

The back has the triple moon, the front has a spiral on her tummy and a pentacle on the base. I am going to paint it later today, if the kids give me a chance. :)

 She has managed to give me a laugh in between the dirty stank-ass diapers I've changed today. The baby always has a load at 6am, another at lunch...I swear, his shit diapies are like bookends to my day.

I was reminded why I don't like "Hooters-esque" wings today...blarghy ol vinegar blech taste! It wasn't at Hooters, but just as ercky!

I am so not making dinner on a hot-ass day like this. 86, here and the AC is barely tackling it. I set it for 71, it stayed at 81. Stupid AC. I gave up and opened windows.

I wish I were able to have an altar in my living room and bedroom. Too much baby stuff everywhere...plus my in-laws wouldn't care for it. :( I cant wait to have a real house in a real town without backwoods bible thumping views all around me. The people here are nice, but close-minded.

I really like the baked sourcream cheesy Lays, but I must resist their call.
